About Michael

Born and raised in Orange County, Michael Kim has witnessed and experienced the tremendous change and growth that has transformed the area into one of the best places to live in the world. With it’s thriving business environment, family friendly amenities, and nationally recognized schools, no wonder Orange County continues to grow and flourish. After earning his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at UC Riverside, Michael went on to earn his Masters in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business, USC with an emphasis in Real Estate and Finance.

Michael Kim became a licensed broker in 2007 and began his real estate career during the worst real estate market of our time. As many agents left the business, Michael took the opportunity to learn about Short Sales and helped many families who were victims of predatory lending practices to get free of crippling mortgage debt. With his experience dealing with short sales and foreclosures, Michael also helped many clients purchase homes and investment properties at deeply discounted prices.

Most important to Michael are Competency (being knowledgeable, clear, always learning and improving, and getting things right) and Transparency (being open and truthful all the time) which leads to Trust that is Earned. His devotion and unparalleled customer service have resulted in a continuously expanding network of loyal clients and referrals.

Outside of loans and real estate, Michael enjoys playing drums and guitar, mixing/recording music for his church, and getting in a round of golf from time to time. He currently lives in Orange, California with his wife Michelle and three daughters.
